Summer of Feathered Fun at Birdland & Jurassic Journey
Saturday 18 July - Tuesday 1 September 2026
Enjoy a Summer of Feathered Fun at Birdland Park and Gardens from 18 July to 1 September 2026, with daily bird feeds, interactive activities, prehistoric adventures and family fun throughout the school holidays.
Meet the expert keepers during daily penguin, pelican and flamingo feeding displays and discover fascinating facts about the different species, what they eat and the unique personalities within the flock. Visitors may also be lucky enough to spot flamingos nesting on eggs and recently hatched chicks, including Burrowing Owls and Masked Lapwings.
Families can follow the Feather Trail, matching birds to their unique feathers while learning how different feathers help birds fly, keep warm, camouflage and survive in the wild.
Home to more than 500 birds, Birdland Park and Gardens offers the chance to see everything from England's only breeding colony of king penguins to colourful parrots, majestic birds of prey, cassowaries and cranes in a mixture of free-flying and aviary displays.
Young explorers can also journey back in time in the popular Jurassic Journey, where life-sized dinosaurs including a mighty T-Rex and towering Brachiosaurus hide among the trees, while giant pterodactyls soar high above the woodland canopy.
Visitors can make the most of the summer with the 2026 Feathered Fun Pass, offering unlimited entry throughout the seven-week summer holidays, plus 10% discount in the café and gift shop for just £20 per person. Terms and conditions apply.
Birdland Park and Gardens is open daily from 10.00am throughout the summer holidays, making it a fantastic family day out in the heart of the Cotswolds.
