Lechlade Craft Barn Celebrates 5th Birthday

Lechlade Craft Barn

Lechlade Craft Barn owners Karen Holland and Jennie Rainsford are celebrating with an Open Day and Birthday Party, taking place next week.  The duo launched their now thriving business in 2014 and are welcoming crafters to the barn next Wednesday, July 24th, to look around the barn, enjoy a slice of birthday cake and find out more about the exciting range of craft workshops on offer.

“We started 5 years ago tentatively offering a few workshops; we couldn’t have foreseen the success of the Craft Barn,” says co-owner Jennie.  “Not only are we continuing to expand the range of craft workshops we provide, but we are welcoming more tutors to the barn, enabling us to broaden the crafts to explore.”

The crafty pair were recently invited to join a team of top-level crafters teaching on cruises.  This year sees the Supercrafters team heading to Sardinia and Italy with SAGA cruises and next year exploring the Norwegian Fjords. The team of talented tutors, which includes several famous faces from the crafting world, can also be found at major craft shows around the country.

“We count ourselves very lucky” says Jennie, “this has been a fantastic opportunity.  We’ve made great friends and get to explore amazing places whilst bringing the joy of crafting to others.”

Drop in to Lechlade Craft Barn any time between 12noon and 4pm on Wednesday 24th July.  Email to find out more or visit the Facebook page or website.
