Featured Cottage: Dove Cottage at Upper Court
Located on the northern fringes of Gloucestershire is Upper Court near Kemerton, and it is here that you will find Dove Cottage.
Watch swans float past your door, drift across the lake in our boat or just sit and chill. This idyllic Dovecote, on the banks of the private lake, is the most romantic hideaway for two.
Park in front of the Manor then follow the path along the Mill stream. The door opens into a simple, stylish open plan lounge/kitchen with marble flooring, cosy under-floor heating and flame-effect stove.
The dreamy bedroom, on the first floor, has a beautiful antique four-poster bed and views across the water. The good sized bathroom is on the second floor and has an extra bed at the dressing room end, curtained off - ideal for a little one!
Upper Court is set in 15 beautiul acres of gardens, lake and landscaped grounds and boasts an outdoor covered pool, tennis court and on-site pottery. A three minute stroll takes you to the very popular Crown Inn at Kemerton - a village pub famous for its warm atmosphere, fine ciders and ales and fantastic restaurant.
