Adam Henson & Prince's First Highland Heifer Calf

Cotswold Farm Park’s first of its kind Highland new-born!
Crowds of visitors at farmer and TV presenter, Adam Henson’s, Cotswold Farm Park joined in chorus today as they cheered on Roseanna the Highland cow.
At around 12pm the call went out on the park wide staff walkie talkie system of ‘calf being born!’. On hearing the news, families of all shapes and sizes rushed to the Highland paddock to watch in anticipation.
As the first ever female, black Highland calf to be born at the Farm Park, it was an extremely special occasion for visitors to see.
Summer 2021 marks the first season Adam Henson has seen offspring from his impressive black Highland bull, Prince.
Prince has been bred with three sister heifers, Roseanna, Regal and Ruby. Ruby delivered Prince’s first calf a few weeks ago, a healthy chocolate brown steer. Now the staff and guests of Cotswold Farm Park are anticipating the imminent arrival of Regal’s calf.
The public can help pick a name that begins with V for the new calf by heading to Cotswold Farm Park’s Facebook page, www.facebook.com/cotswoldfarmparkltd, guests can also see the herd during visits to the Farm Park. All tickets are bookable online, in advance from the website (see link below).
