The Three Counties Showground has been transformed into a spectacular festive wonderland as Winter Glow, the largest Christmas event in the West Midlands, officially opened on Friday, kicking off the holiday season in dazzling style.
Running until Tuesday 31 December, Winter Glow offers a host of magical experiences for families and friends, from the region’s biggest outdoor light trail to ice skating, mini golf, and personalised Santa experiences.
The opening weekend was a resounding success, with over 110 elves and helpers welcoming thousands of visitors for a truly festive start to December.
Highlights of Winter Glow
- Santa’s Winter Village: Families are greeted by Mrs Claus and experience the enchanting charm of Santa's magical village.
- Sweet Treats with Mrs Claus: Children decorate cookies in the warmth of Mrs Claus's cosy kitchen.
- Personalised Meet-and-Greets: Local children enjoy a special moment with Santa himself.
- Glow-in-the-Dark Golf: Friends tackle the illuminated 18-hole mini-golf course, perfect for festive fun.
- The Region’s Largest Covered Ice Rink: Families glide across the ice under a canopy of twinkling lights and festive tunes.
- Festive Light Trail: Visitors embark on a breathtaking journey along the illuminated trail, guided by the story of the Light Guardians.
