About Upper Court Cottages - The Courtyard
Entered through the courtyard archway, this inviting cottage is a light, spacious retreat from the world. The beamed drawing room has an antique pine fireplace with iron stove and a mellow terracotta tile floor. Bow windows give lovely views of the Upper Court gardens and Bredon Hill.
The separate dining room has a refectory table for 8 (with an additional table providing for a total of 14 diners if needed). A door leads to a sheltered private outside seating area – just the spot for a summer lunch. The kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer.
On the first floor are two pretty bedrooms. One with zip and link beds (which can be a double or two singles) and the other with twin beds. A bathroom and shower-room complete this floor.
On the second floor, the former hayloft is now a gem of a bedroom, very private, with lovely old beams and plenty of character. Two single and one double (4ft 6in) bed.
Upper Court is set in 15 beautiul acres of gardens, lake and landscaped grounds and boasts an outdoor covered pool, tennis court and on-site pottery. A three minute stroll takes you to the very popular Crown Inn at Kemerton - a village pub famous for its warm atmosphere, fine ciders and ales and fantastic restaurant.
