A sizzling summer of standout shows revealed at The Everyman Theatre.

Summer at the Everyman Theatre

Take a look at the fantastic forthcoming theatre highlights in Gloucestershire as the Everyman Theatre unveils its new season of world-class entertainment.

The Everyman Theatre, Gloucestershire’s premiere entertainment venue, has announced an eclectic new programme and, once again, it’s jam-packed full of brand-new performances, exciting national tours and family fun as well as top notch dramas and musicals straight from Broadway and the West End.

Here are the top shows you won’t want to miss, starting with lots of fun for the whole family:

Splash Test Dummies
(18-19 July)

The Splash Test Dummies are off on an exciting adventure of oceanic proportions! With a brilliant array of catch-your-breath stunt work, dazzling acrobatics, dexterous juggling and side-splitting, slapstick comedy for the whole family.

In the Night Garden Live (22 July)
You’ll see Makka Pakka, Igglepiggle and all your favourite characters beautifully brought to life with full-size costumes, magical puppets and enchanting music. Your little ones will be amazed when they see a very special visit from the amazing flying Pinky Ponk.

Dragons and Mythical Beasts (3- 5 August)
Calling all brave heroes! Enter into a magical world of myths and legends in this fantastical new interactive show for all the family.

Sarah & Duck’s Big Top Birthday (7 August)

The Tiger Who Came To Tea (10 – 12 August)

The Highland Joker Presents The Bubble Show (29 August)
The Bubble Show is a unique blend of magic, storytelling, science and bubble art! Enjoy bouncy bubbles, bubbles inside bubbles, smoke bubbles, square bubbles, giant bubbles, and even fire bubbles!

Morgan & West’s Massive Magic Show For Kids (30 August)

There are no heroes in Simon Beaufoy’s heartfelt play, just a group of lads trying to regain their dignity and pride.

Calendar Girls – The Musical (26- 30 September)
A group of ordinary women in a small Yorkshire Women's Institute are prompted to do an extraordinary thing and set about creating a nude calendar to raise money for charity.

Disco diva Deloris’ life takes a surprising turn when she witnesses a murder. Placed under protective custody she is hidden in the one place she shouldn’t be found – a convent!

Twelve Angry Men (6-11 November)
Twelve jurors, all men, convene in the claustrophobic jury room of a New York court to decide. But having nearly reached a unanimous verdict of guilty, a single dissenting voice instigates an insightful, emotionally charged examination of the facts. What appears to be an open and shut case soon becomes a dilemma for the twelve.

Tweedy is back taking on his biggest challenge ever... playing Mother Goose!
Get ready for a fun-filled family adventure with the Everyman Theatre’s classic tale of Mother Goose!
