West Midlands’ most magical festive experience opens its doors
Winter Glow, the biggest Christmas event in the Three Counties, opened its doors at the Malvern Showground on Friday to officially start the Christmas season. The event, which is open until Saturday 6th January 2024, offers a host of magical experiences for families and friends to enjoy.
This year’s opening weekend was Winter Glow’s biggest yet with thousands of local families attending for festive fun.
1. Winter Glow is officially open – Families enter Winter Glow for the first time this year to experience Christmas magic.
2. Exploring Santa’s Winter Village – Families discover the enchanted Winter Village greeted by singing reindeer.
3. Elf circus skills workshop – Santa’s talented elves show off their circus tricks.
4. Mrs. Claus’ bakery – Mrs. Claus invites children to take part in cookie decorating in her Christmas kitchen.
5. Santa and his crew – Santa and his elves prepare to welcome excited children into Santa’s Grotto.
6. Meeting the main man – Local children enjoy an extra-special meet-and-greet with Santa.
7. Family skating – Families skate around Winter Glow’s indoor ice rink, enjoying the festive tunes and sparkling decorations.
8. Walking the light trail - A family follow the glistening light trail on an adventure to find the Golden Snowflake.
9. A photo opportunity - Friends pose for a photo whilst taking a walk around Winter Glow’s light trail.
10. Riding the big wheel – Enjoy spectacular views from Winter Glow’s iconic big wheel.
11. Cheers to Christmas - Warm up and toast the festive season with a hot chocolate at Jingle’s Winter Bar.
12. Good local food – Visitors grab delicious festive food from local vendors at Winter Glow’s food quarter.
