Sigma and Sonique join Ministry of Sound Classical for a huge summer show in Gloucester

A major night of live music is set to light up Gloucester this June as Kingsholm Stadium hosts Ministry of Sound Classical as part of the Kingsholm Summer Series. Blending iconic dance anthems with a full live orchestra, the event promises a high-energy experience that brings club culture into a spectacular stadium setting.

With a 31-piece orchestra reimagining some of the most recognisable tracks in dance music history, audiences can expect an immersive performance complete with stunning production, laser lighting and a festival atmosphere right in the heart of the city.

Adding even more excitement to the lineup, chart-topping drum and bass duo Sigma and dance legend Sonique will join the show, creating a standout night that spans genres, generations and unforgettable live moments.

Sigma have become one of the UK’s most successful electronic acts, delivering huge hits such as “Nobody to Love” and “Changing”, alongside collaborations with leading artists including Paloma Faith and Rita Ora. Known for their electrifying performances, they bring festival-level energy wherever they play.

Joining them is Sonique, the BRIT Award-winning voice behind the global hit “It Feels So Good”. A true icon of dance music, she continues to captivate audiences with her powerful vocals and dynamic stage presence.

Beyond the music, Kingsholm Stadium will transform into a full festival experience, featuring a wide range of food and drink options alongside vibrant fan zones to create a buzzing summer atmosphere.

And for one night only, the experience continues after the main event as England’s World Cup group stage match against Panama will be shown live on the big screens, with bars open late to keep the celebrations going.

The Kingsholm Summer Series continues on Sunday 28 June with global superstar Tom Jones returning to Gloucester for another unforgettable performance.
