The Choir of Man heads to the Everyman Cheltenham in 2026
West End smash hit musical The Choir of Man is heading to Cheltenham’s Everyman Theatre for a week of foot-stomping live entertainment in 2026
The Olivier Award-nominated international hit will visit the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham from 11 - 15 August 2026 as part of its first-ever major UK tour.
Following more than 1,000 performances in London’s West End, sold-out seasons at Sydney Opera House and successful tours across Europe and North America, The Choir of Man brings its unique blend of live music, storytelling, tap dance and pub-style atmosphere to Gloucestershire audiences.
Described as “the best night in your local”, the show features a cast of nine performers delivering powerful harmonies and energetic performances to hits from artists including Queen, Adele, Luther Vandross, Paul Simon, Sia, Guns N’ Roses, Avicii and Katy Perry.
The feel-good production celebrates friendship, community and togetherness, combining uplifting music with emotional storytelling and high-energy choreography. Audiences can even enjoy free beer as part of the immersive pub experience.
Created by Nic Doodson and Andrew Kay, the production first premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2017 before becoming an international sensation. The West End production at London’s Arts Theatre continues to attract packed audiences and earned an Olivier Award nomination for Best Entertainment or Comedy Play.
Director Nic Doodson said launching the show’s first UK tour was “incredibly special”, adding that bringing the production to audiences across the country “has always been a dream”.
