New arrival at Prinknash Bird Park
Prinknash Bird Park are thrilled to introduce their latest arrival "Cupid" their first Reindeer at the popular Bird Park at Cranham, near Gloucester.
Two years ago Cupids mother Prancer lost her first calf and has not fallen pregnant again since then. The safe arrival of Cupid has thrilled the staff at the Park who say that Prancer just loves being a Mum!
Cupid was born at 2.30 on Wednesday the 11th May and while very wobbly on her legs she is now doing very well and feeding through the day.
Reindeer are not easy to breed so let’s all hope that "Cupid" continues to thrive at the Park.
