Pittville Pump Room

Pittville Pump Room is Cheltenham’s finest Regency landmark, standing in landscaped gardens with sweeping lawns and a picturesque lake.

Built in the 1820s by architect John Forbes, it remains a stunning example of Regency architecture. The venue is famous for its ionic columns, grand ballroom, and historic Spa Waters, once enjoyed by King George III.

Today, this Grade I listed building hosts weddings, concerts, and cultural events, making it a key part of Cheltenham’s heritage. Visitors can explore its elegant interiors, learn about Cheltenham’s spa town history, and even sample the original mineral-rich waters.

Pittville Pump Room is also a prestigious venue during the annual Cheltenham Music Festival and a sought-after location for private hire.
