Neptune’s Fountain

Neptune’s Fountain stands proudly at the northern end of The Promenade in Cheltenham and is one of the town’s most recognisable landmarks. Installed in 1893, it features a striking bronze statue of Neptune, the Roman god of the sea, holding his trident above a decorative stone basin.

The fountain reflects Cheltenham’s Regency elegance and enhances the tree-lined Promenade, a central shopping and architectural showcase area. It remains a popular meeting point, photography spot and focal feature during festivals and seasonal events.
