The daffodils are finally out and it’s Easter already.
Apart from the Forest Model Village which opens on May 1st after refurbishments, Gloucestershire visitor attractions are open, or will be opening their doors this Easter Bank Holiday weekend – and it looks like being a busy one. Events have been coming in thick and fast and we have a mammoth newsletter for you this month, with over 50 events. But even by the time you get this there will be even more events listed on the website! We have a great selection of Easter activities, with Easter egg and bunny hunts, trails and quizzes for the children.
Our special new look ‘School’s Out’ pages have cleaner listings with events and places to visit for the children throughout the whole school holiday, and with the addition of our new search facility it is even easier for you to find what you want, where you want and when you want. Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends arrive in Gloucestershire this April, Peppa Pig comes to the theatre and knights will be defending the realm on St. Georges Day, plus lots, lots more.
There’s more comedy courtesy of Cheltenham’s favourite, Howlers Comedy Club, and also at the Everyman Theatre with the Olivier award winning ‘Morecambe’ - the man who brought us sunshine! With music from the English Touring Opera and the internationally acclaimed Barclays Cheltenham Jazz Festival at the end of the month, there’s certainly a wealth of entertainment on offer this April.
Gloucestershire has come alive after a long cold winter!
We have another great competition this month with the following prizes...
