The Waterside Restaurant

Menus are created with flair and imagination, giving mouthwatering quality food to savour. The experienced team pride themselves on the use of only the freshest local produce where possible. This means that the menus are constantly changing to take advantage of the seasonal availability of both vegetables and fish and game.

The terrace overlooking the river is a beautiful spot to enjoy lunch and lite bites.

For large party bookings of 20 or more, we would be happy to offer a menu tailored to your needs.

The Waterside Restaurant is open daily:

Morning Coffee and Cakes: 10 am - 12 pm

Lunch: 12 pm - 3 pm - Menu

Afternoon Tea: 3 pm - 5 pm

Evening Restaurant: 7 pm onwards. Last orders 9 pm - Menu

The Wharf House Visitor Centre

The free visitor's center explores 750 years of the Leadon Valley, from the Roman Vineyards, the Civil War, willow growing and basketry, to the on-going restoration of the Herefordshire and Gloucestershire Canal.

It also promotes the work of local artists and crafts people. Examples of their work are on display and for sale at The Wharf House.

Wharf House Accommodation

The Bed and Breakfast service will be opening later in 2008, offering luxury accommodation, stunning riverside views, and the excellent food of The Wharf House Waterside Restaurant.

Each of the seven bedrooms provide wonderful views of the River Severn, or over the newly restored Canal Basin. All rooms will be equiped with wide-screen TV's, full data link-up, and private en suite facilities, some with whirl-pool baths.

Standard Double

There are three Standard Doubles. One room is on the ground floor with access for lesser abled persons, and a spa bath. with the other two rooms on the first floor. All are double rooms with wide-screen TV, full data link-up, video conferencing, film on demand, dvd and music system, en-suite facilities and views of either the Canal Basin or the River Severn and the Telford Bridge.

Executive Double

Also available are two large Executive Doubles, both with stunning views over the River Severn and towards Gloucester or over the newly restored Canal Basin, a spa bath, wide-screen TV, full data link-up, video conferencing, film on demand, and dvd and music systems.

Luxury Double and Suite

There are two large Luxury Double rooms, one with a fully-sprung bed-setee for a third person. Both rooms contain wide-screen TV, full data link-up, video conferencing, film on demand, dvd and music systems, and a two-person spa bath. Rooms have either stunning views of the River Severn and towards Gloucester, or the newly restored Canal Basin.

These two bedrooms are also available together as a Suite, connected via a central lounge, sleeping a total of 5 persons.
