Explore the visitor centre and canal basin, still being restored, and work up an appetite for delectable dishes, created with flair and imagination, whilst using the best of local produce.
All profits made by the Wharf House are used for the promotion and restoration of the Hereford and Gloucester Canal.
The Wharf House Riverside Restaurant Menu
Menus are created with flair and imagination, giving mouthwatering quality food to savour. The experienced team pride themselves on the use of only the freshest local produce where possible. This means that the menus are constantly changing to take advantage of the seasonal availability of both vegetables and fish and game.
The terrace overlooking the river is a beautiful spot to enjoy lunch and lite bites.
For large party bookings of 20 or more, we would be happy to offer a menu tailored to your needs.
The Wharf House Riverside Restaurant is open daily:
- Morning Coffee and Cakes: 10 am - 12 pm
- Lunch: 12 pm - 3 pm
- Afternoon Tea: 3 pm - 5 pm
- Evening Restaurant: 7 pm onwards. Last orders 9 pm
The Wharf House Visitor Centre
The free visitor's center explores 750 years of the Leadon Valley, from the Roman Vineyards, the Civil War, willow growing and basketry, to the on-going restoration of the Herefordshire and Gloucestershire Canal.
It also promotes the work of local artists and crafts people. Examples of their work are on display and for sale at The Wharf House.
