Continuing the water theme, WWT Slimbridge have just opened an exciting new exhibit - 'Back to the Brink', where you can get closer to otters, beavers, water voles and other wetland mammals, some of which are now extinct in Britain.
Explore Gloucestershire have also been in Bourton-on-the-Water installing a new state-of-the-art 'live streaming' webcam at Birdland Park & Gardens. The £2000 'Penguin Cam' overlooks some Humboldts and the only group of King Penguins in England and Wales. Log onto the webcam at 2.30pm and you'll even see the cheeky penguins being fed.
Yet again Explore Gloucestershire have an overwhelming list of things to see and do this summer in our special school holidays pages. See the link below to help stop your children from getting bored.
Our competition this month gives you the chance to win lots of family tickets to some of the best visitor attractions in the Cotswolds and Forest of Dean.
