The Everyman Theatre has had another record-breaking year as its annual Christmas pantomime attracted 38,000 people, smashing all previous box office records.
“That’s 1000 more tickets sold than for last year’s hit, Aladdin”, said Geoffrey Rowe, Chief Executive: “Sleeping Beauty has been another huge success. We’ve changed direction over the last three years, with new writers, more comedy, familiar tunes and bringing back the tradition of a female Principal Boy. The fun and magic of panto is a wonderful diversion during these times of doom and gloom.”
And the Everyman Team has already started work on next year’s show, Cinderella – which is clearly going to be a ball!
