New dates released for Birdland’s VIP Penguin Feeding Experiences

Birdland has released 2024 booking slots for its hugely popular Penguin Feeding Experiences.
These unique experiences, allow visitors to help expert keepers feed Birdland’s much-loved penguin residents including England’s only breeding group of king penguins and the comical characters that are the Humboldt penguins.
You’ll also get the chance to go behind the scenes and help the staff prepare for the feeding display which takes place daily at 2.30pm.
As well as taking part in the experience you’ll also receive a certificate to certify you have fed the famous flightless birds to take home and free entry to the park throughout the day of the experience.
The Penguin Shore enclosure, which underwent a dramatic redesign in 2022, is home to Birdland’s resident celebrity, Spike the King Penguin, who you’ll be able to feed as part of the experience.
The 16-year-old star has just won the title of Most Popular Penguin in the World, which was revealed exclusively live on BBC programme The One Show. His subsequent coronation ceremony was then reported on by BBC 5 Live radio presenter Colin Murray, who is a big fan of the park. Spike now has more than 18,000 Facebook followers.
Only one Feed the Penguin experience is available each day and so they regularly sell out far in advance.
A Feed the Penguins experience also makes for a memorable gift experience that delights everyone who takes part ensuring a cherished Christmas or birthday gift.
The Feed the penguins experience costs £60 and includes entry to Birdland Park and Gardens*
