Lechlade Festival Announces Renishaw Partnership

Engineering and technology company Renishaw is getting behind a local festival. Lechlade Festival organisers have announced the Gloucestershire based company as Main Stage sponsors.
Renishaw is one of the largest private employer in the region, some of their 2,400 staff will be joining festival goers at the 3-day event.
Chris Pockett, Renishaw’s Head of Communications, said, “With such a large number of employees in the region, we aim to support events that benefit our staff, their families and the wider community. Lechlade is a local festival that is growing in stature with high quality music and family entertainment, and we are very pleased to be the 2018 main stage sponsor.”
Lechlade Festival takes place next month over the bank holiday weekend from 25th – 27th May. Scouting For Girls, From The Jam and Doctor and The Medics have been announced as headliners, appearing on the newly named Renishaw Main Stage. They are joined by tribute acts Whole Lotta Led and Flash: A Tribute to Queen on the festival’s traditional Friday tribute night.
“We share a passion in supporting young people,” says Festival Director Jennie Rainsford, “Renishaw has extensive student placement and work experience schemes. They work closely with schools and colleges around the area to prepare young people to meet future skills requirements. Equally the festival endeavours to support young people in their musical development by creating a vital live music platform for emerging young artists.”
Advance Tickets are on sale for the family-friendly festival, with children 16 and under getting in free. Festival goers can expect a lively programme of free activities such as street dance, music workshops and crafts.
Locals benefit from big savings on weekend and camping tickets with discounted tickets for nominated postcodes.
