Lechlade Festival expecting record numbers this weekend!

Lechlade Festival organisers are expecting record numbers at the Riverside country park next weekend. The fine, dry weather has reportedly boosted ticket sales, with camping tickets almost sold out for the 3-day festival taking place over the bank holiday weekend.
“The site build is underway and we can’t wait to open the gates on Friday” says Festival Director and Founder Jennie Rainsford, “we’ve experienced bumper sales in the last few days. Live in Vehicle pitches sold out last week and the final camping tickets are selling fast.”
Now in its 9th year, the festival will see British rock band The Feeling top the bill on Sunday night, with That 80s Rock Show taking to the Renishaw Main Stage on Saturday night.
“Sunday is almost fully booked and we expect to sell out Sunday day tickets before the weekend.” said Jennie, “we urge people not to leave it until the day and assume they can get in on the gate!”
Families will have plenty to keep youngsters entertained, with a free play tent, circus skills area and free workshops including street dance, drumming, flamenco and robot games.
Children 16 and under go free, whether camping or visiting for the day. Fabulous food, real ales, stalls and rides complete the weekend.
