October Half Term at Taurus Crafts

Whether it’s being amazed at the magic show or painting your own scary pumpkin design Taurus Crafts is the place to head to this October school holiday. Based in the Forest of Dean the charity run visitor centre are putting on a full programme of creative activities throughout the October holiday and a spooky café evening.
During the daytime you can pop in, get creative and choose from a great selection of spooky workshops where you can make broomsticks, trick or treat bags, witches’ hats, monster head pots, and even special edition spooky slime. Plus, they have a Halloween themed trail where people can find the ‘creatures’ that have escaped and play area, which will be they are sure will keep your little monsters entrained.
The spooky goings-on aren’t limited to the daytime with their new café’s ‘All Families Eve’ which will be running from 6pm until 9pm on Friday 29th October. With frighteningly fun children’s activities like mask making, doughnut bobbing, and painting a Halloween decoration plus delicious food and drink to enjoy, the event looks to provide a fantastic family friendly environment for Halloween festivities all under one roof. So why not call and book your tickets and secure their seats.
In keeping with the eerie and ghostly nature of their October events the centre has adopted a novel approach to its publicity with photos shot in black and white, and colours reversed too, creating a new look to their branding just for the Halloween season.
To find out more you can look at the Taurus Crafts website or facebook page or join their mailing list to hear about events, activities and offers.
