Severn Zero at Taurus Crafts -Zero Waste, Zero Hassle

Severn Zero at Taurus Crafts

The world doesn't need more waste! Taurus Crafts is hoping to do their bit with their latest venture which will open on Earth Day- a fitting day to launch a zero-waste shop aimed at making a difference to the planet.

Severn Zero will open on 22nd April and customers are encouraged to re-use their containers from home and fill them with our eco range of bulk wholefoods, natural beauty products and cleaning products . The store will be open seven days a week from 10am until 5pm.

Severn Zero makes it easy as 1, 2, 3 to shop. You weigh your containers, then fill with your everyday essentials and then pay. An advanced scale only charges you for the product you selected and it subtracts your container's weight.

“We have always sold planet friendly products alongside a small selection of refills, and it's so great to be able to expand our offering and do more to reduce single-use plastics” Alexander Guthrie, Marketing

As part of the council’s Plastic-free Lydney community initiative, Seven Zero aims to help you live a more sustainable lifestyle and reduce your environmental impact. It's not just that Severn Zero aims to reduce waste, this venture will also provide an opportunity for adults with learning disabilities and other disabilities in the charity’s visitor centre gain work experience.

“As prices rise for everyone, we have ensured that our products are accessible to all as helping the planet shouldn’t have barriers. We believe it is important to keep in mind that you do not have to shop entirely zero waste - that would be amazing - but making small changes can also help the planet!" Pamela Milan, Retail Manager
