Get ready for an electrifying summer music festival experience as The Brewery Quarter proudly presents Summer Jam: The Lakefest Warmup, taking place from 21st to 23rd July. This exciting three-day event will bring together incredible live music, delicious food and drinks, and a vibrant atmosphere, creating the ultimate celebration of summer in the heart of Cheltenham.

Summer Jam: The Lakefest Warmup is a prelude to the renowned Lakefest music festival, providing a taste of the incredible talent and energy that will be unleashed later in the season at Eastnor Castle. The Brewery Quarter, known for its vibrant entertainment offerings, will be transformed into a lively music hub, showcasing a diverse lineup of talented musicians, bands and entertainers.

The event will kick off on 21st July, igniting the summer spirit with an array of performances that will captivate music lovers of all genres. From soulful sounds to rocking rhythms, Summer Jam promises to deliver an unforgettable experience for attendees of all ages. With a mix of renowned local acts - such as The Mark Walby Band headlining Friday evening and Camilla Lewington headlining Sunday, along with exciting emerging artists in Lakefest's Grand Finale of it's "Amped!" competition throughout the Saturday - the festival offers a platform for both established favourites and rising stars to shine.
 
FRIDAY

The opening for Summer Jam will ease you into the weekend with simply stunning vocals and music from the beautiful Kate Loveridge, followed by The Mark Walby band playing a range of popular cult classics from the 80's right through to today.
SATURDAY
On Saturday four judges from Lakefest will be joining spectators to enjoy the winning finalist bands from the Bristol, Liverpool and London heats, performing in the "Amped!" Grand Finale.
If there's a better line-up of brand new musical talent anywhere in the country, than the ten bands performing on Saturday's Summer Jam stage, then we'll eat Pablo Pig's pants! Lakefest presents the finale of 'Amped' on this day, and one of these incredible artists will be winning a main stage slot at this years festival and £5,000. As the organisers of Lakefest say: "Because sometimes you gotta' give back. 543 entered: Now it's finals day, and the rubber hits the road!"
Bands include Kisskie Band, Two Pounds Down, Jordan Hemingway, Laurie Wright, The Chase, Bar Staff Band, Walls Band, Leon Oleary, Morning Tourist and Gentlemen of Few.
SUNDAY
On Sunday, new to The Brewery Quarter is Crispin, a young up and coming singer-songwriter, whose song "Lover Lover" has been played thousands of times on his YouTube channel.  Lakefest favourite DJ Shippers will be playing a variety of family party hits.  Blues/rock band Chimp on a Bike will also take to the stage, followed by The Brethryn, a favourite regular band of Lakefest who host their own cocktail bar at the festival.  Brewery favourite Camilla Lewington will close the festival with a bang, belting out some of the best singalong party hits.
THROUGHOUT THE WEEKEND
Summer Jam is not just about the music. Attendees can also indulge in an array of delicious food and drinks from The Brewery Quarter's impressive selection of dining establishments. From mouth-watering street food to refreshing cocktails, there will be something to satisfy every craving and complement the lively festival atmosphere. There is chance to purchase day or camping tickets to Lakefest, the family-friendly music festival that is the inspiration for Summer Jam's warm up event. 
FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

Comic ventriloquist and magician Colin Dymond and his puppet friends will perform between music sets on the Saturday and Sunday, between 1 and 5:30pm.  On Saturday we will also welcome Sonic and Super Mario characters from Supersons from 1-3pm, along with a chance to get festival ready with Glitterbomb festival glitter artists for a reduced fee from 1-5pm.  On Sunday join some of the princesses and superheroes from Little Dreamers Events from 1-3pm.

Summer Jam: The Lakefest Warmup will not only serve as a fantastic warm-up to the highly anticipated Lakefest but also as a testament to Cheltenham's thriving festival scene. The event promises to attract music enthusiasts from across the region, creating a lively and inclusive atmosphere where festival-goers can come together to celebrate the joy of live music.

Entrance to Summer Jam is free, but customers are reminded that bringing their own drinks and food is not permitted.  Advance booking in restaurants is highly encouraged, plus there will be outdoor bars in the music area to take advantage of.

Summer Jam takes place on Friday 21 July from 5-9:30pm, then on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 from 1-9:30pm each day.Stay tuned for the announcement of the full lineup and schedule, as well as additional details regarding the event's activities and special promotions.
