Tewkesbury to welcome a Comedy Legend

The Roses Theatre is thrilled to announce that stand-up comedian, actor and TV personality Bill Bailey has chosen the Tewkesbury venue to be the host of a series of “Work in Progress” shows this September – each featuring brand new material never heard before.
Caroline Lawrence, Commercial Director of The Roses, says:
“This is huge, not just for The Roses, but for the whole of Tewkesbury. We are delighted that Bill reached out to us to do these shows – work in progress gigs like these are so special as not only do audiences get a really intimate evening with a comedy legend, but they can legitimately claim that they heard it here first!”
Audiences at Bill’s Tewkesbury shows can also be among the first to sample the venue’s newly refurbished bar and kitchen, which will open in August.
Caroline continues:
“It’s a really exciting time for The Roses. We have been offering pizzas for a few months now, but from August people will really be able to make a night of it and enjoy a wider range of food, snacks and drinks alongside their chosen show. More details will be released shortly!”
Bill will be making eight appearances across the week of 11 – 15 September. Full details are available online
