Cheltenham Christmas Lights switch on 2008 with the Honeyz
The Honeyz join Star 107.5 to light up Cheltenham this Christmas
It’s
the official start to Christmas – the big Cheltenham light switch on!
Join Star 107.5 and a host of stars from 90s Girl Group The Honeyz to
the cast of Aladdin as performed at the Everyman Theatre.
Throughout
the day, there’ll be street entertainers performing throughout the town
centre with a party atmosphere in both of our Shopping Centres.
At 5.15 the lights begin to shine… first at the Regent Arcade where our presenters will be joined by Bob the Builder.
At 5.30 it’s the Beechwood Shopping Centre’s turn… with Spongebob Squarepants and Patrick joining our host to flip the switch.
Then
a procession will lead everyone to the main event at Imperial Gardens,
where the Star 107.5 team, including legendary radio voice Mike Read
will bring along The Honeyz, Stagecoach Kids and the St Edward’s School
Choir.
It’ll all be capped off at 6.30 when we light up the
streets with Cheltenham’s Mayor, Councillor Robin MacDonald and, of
course, Santa himself.
Don’t miss the star studded Christmas
party on stage as we’re joined by celebrity guests, live music and some
