About AV8 Restaurant
AV8 is a modern, light and vibrant restaurant, with a unique atmosphere due to its fantastic airfield setting. Whether you’re a pilot, passenger or visitor to the site, you will be well catered for.
AV8 by Day
By day we offer a varied hot and cold menu including our chefs’ finest creations on our ‘Daily Specials’ board and our ‘Light Bites’ range. There’s also sandwiches, baguettes, starter and kids meals. Of course not everyone wants a full meal at lunchtime, but we will tempt you with our selection of deserts - resist if you can! We use the best fresh ingredients from our local suppliers.
The AV8 Cooked Breakfasts are available from 9.00am to 11am, but for those who breakfast a little later or just fancy a little extra, our breakfast baps are served all day.
Due to our handy location on the A433 (Tetbury - Cirencester road) we are also a popular stop and meeting point. We have regular visits from cycling clubs and car enthusiasts, etc.
Sunday roasts are ever more popular, so ‘Give the Cook in your House the Day-off’ and come along next weekend! Plus live music every Sunday lunchtime providing a super background to your meal.
And when the weather is kind, our terrace offers a continental café feel – great food in the sunshine!

AV8 by Night
As the sun goes down across the runway the atmosphere at AV8 comes into its own. The views are amazing here so our aim is to match them with a great menu and choice of events throughout the year.
Our Friday and Saturday a La Carte Menu varies weekly, to keep even our most regular diners happy.
Whether you like Jazz, Country, Modern, Classical or Opera we have something for everyone’s taste, plus we have space for a dance floor too, so you can do your thing and dance the night away.
Chance too for a romantic or special meal out, on the terrace or at a more secluded table.
