About the International Centre for Birds of Prey

2012 is the 45th anniversary year for the International Centre for Birds of Prey. Over the years a lot has changed at the Centre so if you haven’t been over the last four years you’ll certainly notice the changes.

For a great family day out in beautiful surroundings and the opportunity to see spectacular flying demonstrations, it’s a visit not to be missed. It’s also a great photography opportunity and courses with experts are also available. For a great present you can also book special experience days and get to handle the birds.


International Birds of Prey Centre highlights at a glance

2014 Opening times at the International Centre for Birds of Prey

From 1 February 30 November 2014  (Closed for the Winter during December and January)

Open 7 days a week

March - October from 10.30am to 5.30pm
November & February - from 10.30am to 4.15pm
December & January - closed except for courses and Owl Evenings


2014 Admission at the International Centre for Birds of Prey

  • Adults £11
  • Children (4-15) £7
  • Senior Citizens £10
  • Family Ticket (2+2) £33.00
    (each child over two in number will be charged at the normal childrens rate)

Group Visits

Group bookings are available for minimum of 15 people. The charges for adult parties (those 16 and over) are 10% off the normal entrance fee, to be paid in a lump sum, not individually.

School parties

  • These will constitute a minimum 15 of people
  • Charges are £5 for each of the children
  • There is one free ticket for each adult with 10 children
  • For each adult not included in the free person category, the entry fee is £10

This runs for 12 calendar months and allows the member free access to the Centre during opening hours. Bring a guest and have a 10% discount on their entrance fee!
