Gloucester Rugby Residential Summer Camps - BOOK NOW!
Gloucester Rugby has once again teamed up with the Royal Marines to offer young aspiring rugby players a unique rugby camp experience.
This residential camp has proven to be extremely successful in previous years. This year the week long camp will run from Monday 3rd to Friday 7th August. The setting for the camp is Chivenor Barracks, Devon, the home of the Royal Marines.
Gloucester Rugby professional coaches will ensure those attending are given every opportunity to enhance their rugby skills and set a platform for future development. This coupled with the mix of mental and physical challenges provided by the Royal Marines will ensure players are tested to the full.
Rugby coaching sessions will be based on the latest training methods and theories delivered by coaches who have a track record of developing talented young players and will include core and positional skill sessions as well as conditioned games for strength and conditioning.
The Royal Marines provide trained officers to lead additional activities throughout the week providing guidance, support and motivation, giving an insight into the life of the Marines. They will set Personal Fitness Tests, Observation and Leadership Tasks, plus Sand Dune Running, and assault courses.
The camp is an all inclusive 5 day residential which includes the following:
- Full board accommodation (Breakfast, lunch and dinner)
- Return transport to and from Kingsholm stadium
- A full 5 days activity programme of rugby coaching and Marine activities
This is a hugely popular camp with limited number of places availbale. Therefore, to avoid dissapointment it is advisable to book early.
