1. Medieval Moments
21 July – 31 August 2026
Step back in time and discover what it took to become a Medieval knight. Young visitors can follow the interactive Knight Trail around the castle and grounds, taking part in activities including target practice, dressing up and other hands-on challenges along the way.
Trail maps are available from the Visitor Centre for just £1 per child.

2. Falconry Displays
Tuesdays & Thursdays throughout the Summer Holidays
On Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the summer holidays, visitors can enjoy spectacular falconry displays on the Mulberry Lawn beneath the Banqueting Hall ruins. Watch magnificent birds of prey demonstrate their incredible speed, skill and agility in one of the castle's most beautiful settings.
3. Romeo & Juliet
1 & 2 August 2026
Pack a picnic and experience Shakespeare beneath the stars as The Duke's Theatre Company presents a vibrant new production of Romeo & Juliet. Set against the stunning backdrop of Sudeley Castle, this open-air performance promises an unforgettable summer evening.

4. Civil War Weekend
15 & 16 August 2026
Travel back to the 17th century as Sudeley Castle's fascinating Civil War Weekend brings history vividly to life. Watch battle skirmishes, pike drills and living history displays while meeting soldiers, medics and cooks from the English Civil War period.
Don't forget to sample the Civil War-themed specials available in the Pavilion café during the weekend.
