Whitemead Forest Park has a brilliant programme of summer holiday fun, with daytime activities, evening entertainment and plenty for families to enjoy throughout their stay.
Set among beautiful woodland in the Forest of Dean, it is the perfect place to relax after a busy day exploring, swimming, playing Adventure Golf or making the most of the park’s summer activity programme.
Summer Holiday Activities
Saturday 18 July – Sunday 6 September 2026
There is something happening throughout the week, with activities including archery, Field Zorbs, Water Walkerz, Sea Scooters, Mini Pedal Boats, Teddy Bear Making, slime making, creative crafts, chocolate parties, Water Wars, football tournaments, water polo and teen pool parties.
Families can also enjoy Whitemead’s Nature Trail and Treasure Hunt, with activities available from Guest Services.

Evening Entertainment
After a busy day in the Forest of Dean, Whitemead is the perfect place to sit back and enjoy a fun-filled evening with the family.
During the summer holidays, guests can enjoy a full evening entertainment programme every night, including themed discos, bingo, speciality acts, game shows, quizzes and live music.
Every Sunday from 2pm, guests can relax on The Terrace and enjoy live vocal performances, perfect for soaking up the sunshine with great music.
Woodland Adventure Golf
Whitemead’s Adventure Golf is open daily from 10am, offering 12 woodland-themed holes with crafted features inspired by woodland creatures, flora and local elements.
No booking is required, with tickets available from Guest Services. Family tickets are available, making it a great activity for all ages to enjoy together.
