Ian Kennedy Productions presents it's Summer Tour, 'The Wonderful Wizard of Oz'
This Summer, IKP are proud to announce that they will be presenting ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz’ in the open-air throughout August. This decision was carefully made after placing extensive effort into being able to guarantee the safety of the audience, the cast and the host venues. IKP believe that it is important to continue with the tour in a socially responsible way, giving families and people of all ages an opportunity to enjoy live theatre in a safe environment this Summer.
Following the success of The Sword in the Stone and The Three Musketeers, IKP return with another “bonkers” theatre adventure in Summer 2020 with a brand new comedy adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. This performance will adhere to strict social distancing guidelines, and will be performed outdoors. Performances will continue as planned except in the event of extreme adverse weather conditions.
Join Dorothy, the Tin Woodman, the Scarecrow, the Cowardly Lion and Toto as they encounter munchkins, witches, winged monkey, enchanted slippers and a Wonderful Wizard! Expect the unexpected in this comedy for all the family, featuring physical humour, fast-paced multi-roling and plenty of laughs for all ages.
IKP says "We promise to keep our audience, host venues and company safe by:
    -  Maintaining space between the company, venue staff and audience members at all times
-  Providing hand sanitiser at all venues
-  Performing in open spaces where possible to allow audiences to spread out and feel safe
-  Monitoring government guidance, and updating our safety policy in line with up-to-date guidance
To help us ensure that we can keep all of our audience safe, all tickets must be pre-booked as on-door sales will not be available.
Performances outside Stroud Brewery and the Irving Studio Theatre:
There is no seating provided, so please bring something to sit on. This production is designed to be performed in the open-air and will continue except in the event of extreme adverse weather.
