With the eagerly awaited recent government guidance changes now allowing cafes to open, Taurus Crafts is all set to embrace the opportunity and are looking forward to seeing everyone again.

"We are going to play to our strengths and use all our outdoor areas including covered seating areas for our customers rather than serving in the barn buildings"- says centre manager Wendy Firkin. She explains this will be all at safe distances to minimise risk, with table service and card payments only. The seasonal menu on offer will include lite-bites, snacks, ice creams, cakes and slices and of course hot and cold drinks.

"We are looking forward to welcoming back customers to the café from 10am on the 4th July and want to assure those considering a visit to us that they are safe with marked out social distancing, staff using PPE, and have screens up at till points. We have made every effort to ensure we are Covid safe."

The visitor centre has implemented a one-way system in place for shops and toilets and regular cleaning is being carried out throughout the site.

Alongside the café, the gift shop and home & fashion shop will be open, and the artisan business are beginning to open up too, so it’s best to check the website to find out what’s on offer.
