Latest News from JDR Karting & Activity Centre

JDR Karting and Activity Centre are re-opening on 4th July in accordance with the government guidelines and you can start booking your sessions online now.
The following safety measures have been put in place:
- Please book and pay online for your session or pay over the phone.
- Limited walk-ins will be accepted with priority given to existing bookings.
- The latest bespoke ozone sterilisation cabinet ensures all helmets and race suits are sterilised for each and every customer. It is mandatory to wear a balaclava and race gloves (a charge of just £3). You can bring your own race suit, helmet and gloves if you prefer.
- The number of customers will be limited at any one time to maintain social distancing. The building is very large; however, it is important that people enter the building at the scheduled time booked. Please wait in your car if you arrive early. For kids track karting 5 mins before your session, main track karting 20 mins. Lasertag 10 mins, Segways, 10 mins & Axe Throwing 10 mins prior to your session start time.
- Social distancing to be followed upon arrival and is clearly marked around the building
- Masks are required when playing Lasertag, Segways & Axe Throwing. If you have your own bring it with you if not, JDR can provide them.
- Hand sanitising stations have been placed throughout the building. Please ensure you use these upon arrival and during your stay.
- As a thank you to our amazing NHS 15% will be discounted upon showing a valid NHS ID card (not applicable to cafe items)
- Lasertag - a maximum of 15 players instead of 32.
- Due to limited space and social distancing compliance JDR ask that customers bring no more than 1 spectator
- Customers can complete their waiver using an online link sent with the booking confirmation. Although you will not come directly in contact with kart steering wheels as you will be wearing gloves, the kart steering wheels will be sanitised prior to each driver. Lasertag guns & axes will be sanitised prior to use. The building in general will be regularly sanitised to ensure the utmost of care is taken to protect our customers and staff.
