GeOdyssey Exhibition at Nature in Art
GeOdyssey Exhibition at Nature in Art
22nd October - 17th November
Nature in Art invites visitors to explore its latest exhibition, a collection of work that celebrates different aspects of geology.
The museum, located at Wallsworth Hall near Gloucester, is excited to showcase a new collection by Jackie Garner, a leading British wildlife artist renowned for her traditional depictions of wildlife in their natural habitats. During the Covid-19 pandemic and the resulting period of quiet, Garner looked beyond wildlife and focused on what truly sparked her interest—patterns in nature.
The outcome is a stunning collection of abstract art inspired by rocks, minerals, and fossils—elements that may not initially come to mind when considering the attractions of nature. Visitors are encouraged to challenge their views of beauty and come along to GeOdyssey at Nature in Art to appreciate these remarkable pieces. For more information about Jackie Garner and her work, please visit her website.
In addition to Garner's collection, visitors to Nature in Art will have the opportunity to see other displays of nature-inspired art and meet an artist in residence. Housed in a fine Georgian mansion just three miles north of Gloucester, this exhibition at Nature in Art promises to be an inspiring visit for art lovers and nature enthusiasts alike.
