Nature in Art invites visitors to explore its latest exhibition, a collection of work that celebrates different aspects of geology.
The museum, located at Wallsworth Hall near Gloucester, is excited to showcase a new collection by Jackie Garner, a leading British wildlife artist renowned for her traditional depictions of wildlife in their natural habitats. During the Covid-19 pandemic and the resulting period of quiet, Garner looked beyond wildlife and focused on what truly sparked her interest—patterns in nature.
The outcome is a stunning collection of abstract art inspired by rocks, minerals, and fossils—elements that may not initially come to mind when considering the attractions of nature.
