'Grandslam Madness' - The UK's Greatest Outdoor Tour Ever!
British Pop Legends, Madness, announce Gloucester Rugby's Kingholm Stadium on Saturday 30 May as part of their Grandslam Madness Tour!
Fresh off the road from their sell out 2014 arena tour, Madness are now set to perform at Gloucester Rugby’s Kingsholm Stadium on Saturday 30 May 2015, as part of the UK’s greatest ever live open air tour this summer. The band said, “Come see, come see! The world’s strongest band perform incredible feats live! Marvel as Madness lift an enormous set of polished pop songs high in the air, single handed! The UK's biggest open air tour ever! Rolling into a town near you, soon.”
The tour, which runs from May to September 2015, will take in 19 shows at some of the greatest sporting venues around the country, including racecourses, cricket grounds, rugby and football stadiums.
These shows will offer the concertgoers the unique experience of an outdoor event with a festival vibe, set within these iconic huge green spaces and amazing sporting venues.
Madness will be performing inimitable quirky pop classics such as “House of Fun”, “Baggy Trousers” and “My Girl”, iconic songs that are guaranteed to draw you in, get you dancing and singing along. The band will also be performing some of their new songs, their first new recordings in three years.
Gloucester Rugby’s CEO, Stephen Vaughan is thrilled to be welcoming Madness to Kingsholm: “Madness are the perfect band to be playing here at Kingsholm – they are incredible live and Kingsholm has proved itself to be a terrific live music venue. We expect this concert to sell out and can’t wait to hear Madness roll back the decades with their slate of well-known hits.”
