Children’s creative activities at Taurus Crafts this half term
‘Welcome Back’, that’s the message that Taurus Crafts are sending out this May half term as they invite families to get involved in their socially distanced creative activity programme.
The charity run visitor centre in the Forest of Dean have been providing activity sessions for children for over 25 years and are now embracing the easing of restrictions to enable families to ‘make together’ and have a great and safe day out, and they can’t wait to see families back on site getting creative in the large marquee.
Activities on offer will include Paint your own Pot, Clay Play, Slime, Magic Show, and Fairy Houses with more being listed on their facebook page and website. Plus, they have a free activity booklet and free trail to find the elf doors. You can get your trail sheet from the gift shop.
The activity programme will be running from 29th May until 6th June at Taurus Crafts visitor centre near Lydney with all shops, craft workshops, playground and café up and running in a covid safe environment. Taurus Crafts is a great family venue where you can discover your own creativity and experience first-hand local independent designer-makers and artisan businesses creating a diverse range of handmade items for you to enjoy.
Taurus Crafts is part of the Camphill Village Trust, a charity supporting adults with learning disabilities. Taurus Crafts provides work and training opportunities, so people can interact with the public and gain confidence from their achievements.
