Everyman Theatre Cheltenham Unveils Exciting New Season Brochure with West End and Broadway Hits

The Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham, has launched its new season brochure, showcasing a fantastic array of productions that bring the excitement of West End and Broadway to Gloucestershire.

Musical lovers are in for a treat, starting with Ghost The Musical (1st – 5th October), a stunning adaptation of the Oscar-winning film, starring Les Dennis. Here You Come Again (15th – 19th October), the Dolly Parton musical, will follow, offering a heartwarming jukebox musical celebrating the country icon’s hits before its West End debut. Audiences can also anticipate Chicago (20th – 25th January), the Broadway classic, as well as The Pirates of Penzance (28th January – 1st February), featuring a full orchestra and a special 2-for-1 opening night ticket offer. Looking ahead, The Rocky Horror Show (February 2025), Cruel Intentions: The ‘90s Musical (March 2025), and the return of SIX (March 2025) promise excitement, while Military Wives will open in September 2025.

Christmas at the Everyman will feature The Elves and The Shoemaker and Sherlock Holmes and A Christmas Mystery at the Irving Studio Theatre (November – January). The annual pantomime, Aladdin, starring local favourite Tweedy the Clown, will bring festive fun to the Main Stage from 29th November – 12th January.

Families can enjoy Coming to England (8th – 12th October), a stage adaptation of Floella Benjamin’s inspiring story, and Peppa Pig: Fun Day Out (30th – 31st October). Drama fans will be captivated by Birdsong (22nd – 26th October), based on Sebastian Faulks’ WWI novel, and Rebus: A Game Called Malice (5th – 9th November), a thrilling adaptation of Ian Rankin’s detective novel. The much-anticipated The Girl on The Train (March 2025), starring Giovanna Fletcher, and The Shark Is Broken (22nd – 26th April), a comedic look at the making of Jaws, are also on the schedule.

For dance enthusiasts, performances by Strictly Come Dancing stars Anton Du Beke (11th – 12th November) and Nikita Kuzmin (May 2025) will delight, alongside classics from Imperial Classic Ballet, including Swan Lake and The Nutcracker (14th – 16th November).

A standout announcement is Twiggy The Musical (4th – 13th September 2025), an Everyman Theatre production that celebrates the life of the 1960s supermodel Twiggy, written by Ben Elton, set to open in Cheltenham before embarking on a national tour.

To celebrate, the theatre is offering 2-for-1 opening night tickets for Birdsong (22nd – 26th October), Pirates of Penzance (28th January – 1st February), and Summer 1954 (3rd – 8th February).
