2009 'Gloucestershire at its Best' photography competition - Opens 1 April

The 3rd Explore Gloucestershire, 'Gloucestershire at its Best' photography competition is open for entries on Wednesday 1 April 2009, and this year it's sponsored by Jessops.
Whether you’ve taken a photograph of a frozen lake in the Royal Forest of Dean, an early morning misty summer shot of an enchanted Cotswold valley, autumn leaves falling in Cheltenham’s famous Promenade, or fresh spring daffodils in the grounds of Gloucester Cathedral - then you’ve the chance of not only winning £250 of Jessops vouchers but also seeing your photograph in print and on our website.
The winning photograph will be chosen by judges, Oli Davis and Jane Baker from the regions leading wedding photographers, Cotswold Weddings in January 2010.
Last year’s winner, David Gamm from Dursley, took this stunning photograph below, which we felt captured the essence of Gloucestershire. It was taken in Autumn 2008 from Stinchcombe Hill looking towards the Tyndale Monument.
If you can think you have a photograph which is better than David's, and captures Gloucestershire at its best, then enter the competition (starts April 1 2009).
