Lucky in Love at Eastgate Shopping Centre
Romance is on the cards at The Eastgate Centre, Gloucester and visitors to the shopping centre on Saturday, 4 February can take part in the ‘Lucky in Love’ Valentine’s Competition.
As a timely reminder that the most romantic day of the year is nearly upon us, between 11am and 3pm, shoppers out buying cards, chocolates and gifts for their ‘significant other’ will be handed a playing card by one of the ‘Dolly Dealers’ in the Centre.
Invited to take their card to the ‘Lucky in Love’ display, a Dolly Dealer will turn over the top card from her giant pack and if it matches the card the shopper has in any way, a prize will be awarded*.

The prize will depend on the match – with chocolate hearts for matching a suit with the prize value increasing as the chances of a match decrease.
“The Lucky in Love” competition is free to enter,” says Jason Robinson, Manager of the Eastgate Shopping Centre, “and all our shoppers will be rewarded on the turn of a friendly card and no one’s love goes unrequited as there are consolation prizes of chocolate hearts for all entrants.”
