Cosy Club NOW OPEN in Cheltenham
Something very special is happening to the food and drink scene in Cheltenham…the Cosy Club is due to fling open its doors on Tuesday 28th February 2017 thanks to the Loungers Group. Loungers has invested £789K transforming the unit in The Brewery Quarter, creating 35 jobs for local people.
Quirky, eccentric and playful Cosy Club offers informal casual dining, drinking and lounging in a homely and family friendly environment… Think mansion splendour meets village hall eccentricity. Cosy Club's menu majors on comfort food classics as well as offering an extensive brunch menu, a decent variety of sandwiches, and a great selection of tapas.
Paul Alexander, Senior Operations Manager, Loungers, says: “At Cosy Club, we serve up a sense of being somewhere special with a hint of nostalgia. From a lazy breakfast to family lunch or a night out in your glad rags, we’re set apart by the character of our team, elegance of our design and quality of our food and drink. We’re in the heart of the buzzing Brewery Quarter and we’re thrilled to be part of such an exciting development. Our purpose is simple: every customer leaves feeling splendid.”
Mix matched tables and dining chairs, battered old cocktail armchairs, sleek 1930’s sofas and mid-century sideboards make you feel immediately at home. The walls are adorned with flock wallpaper, William Morris classics, family portraits, flags, banners and iconic 50’s artwork peppered with the odd piece of taxidermy thrown in for good measure! Vast Gothic chandeliers hang dramatically next to huge glass stars, French brass fittings and chintzy shades throwing light that is soft, sumptuous and elegant. A University honours board flanks the back bar.
Demelsa Coleman, Marketing Manager for The Brewery Quarter said: “We’re delighted to welcome Cosy Club to The Brewery Quarter. The level of investment in their restaurant is matched by the amazing finish and quality service they will offer. They’re a great addition to Cheltenham’s dining scene and we look forward to them officially opening their doors next Tuesday.”
Whatever your tipple, Cosy Club aims to please. You can expect excellent coffee and cake, an imaginative choice of soft drinks, a great selection of draught beers, cider and ale, an enviable wine list and, to top it off, a nicely proportioned list of classic cocktails.
Guests will be able to enjoy various deals which run throughout the week, including the Breakfast Club: Monday-Friday, 9am until noon - order any brunch item, a tea or coffee and a juice for £7.50 and the Trolley of Joy: every Sunday, 10am until 1pm – unlimited prosecco and Bloody Marys for just £10 when you purchase any brunch item.
