Adam Henson to unveil new-look Farm Park on February 11th
One of Gloucestershire’s favourite family attractions is due to re-open next weekend, following on from an extended winter break. The team at Cotswold Farm Park have been working hard on some renovations to the site and are looking forward to seeing the reactions from members and regular visitors.
In a video for the Farm Park’s Facebook page, Adam said “We’ve got lots of new developments going on and work is still carrying out behind me. We open on February 11th for the 2017 season and we’re very excited to welcome all our visitors again. Of course, we’ve got lambing happening right up until Easter, so I hope you can join us soon.”
Visitors will be greeted by a much improved admissions area, where the scattering of temporary buildings have been replaced by a bespoke barn, housing ticket booths and improved toilet facilities. The Farm Park then beckons with improved accessibility and layout making for an enhanced visitor experience.
The building work signifies another new chapter in the story of the world’s first ever Farm Park, opened by Adam’s father Joe Henson in 1971. Mr H, as he was known to many, sadly passed away in 2015, but was involved in the early stages of planning and the buildings have been designed with the Farm Park history and heritage at the forefront of the design process.
