Family Fun at Teckels Animal Sanctuaries Summer Dog Show!
Teckels is delighted to announce it will be holding its annual summer dog show on Sunday 14th August. Following the success of previous shows, the event promises to be the biggest and best with something for everyone to enjoy.
The fields on Church Lane, Frampton on Severn will be transformed to provide a perfect setting for a fun packed day with the family and your four legged friends.
The dog show offers a selection of classes including waggiest tale, most handsome male, prettiest female, best trick and best pup, to name but a few. In addition, there’ll be prizes for best of breed classes. If speed is your dog’s talent, then the dog scurry will be the perfect event. Collie Wobbles Agility will also be demonstrating their skills and giving the dogs in the audience the opportunity to have a go too.
You’ll find a BBQ with a selection of food including vegetarian, hot drinks and home-made cakes plus ice-creams and milk shakes. There will be stalls with a variety of offerings from pet accessories and food to cards and presents.
All funds raised from this event will help greatly towards the care of the unwanted and abandoned cats and dogs it looks after.
In 2015 Teckels Animal Sanctuaries rehomed 117 dogs and 259 cats. With the aim of finding dogs and cats ‘right first time’ forever homes, the charity also provides rehabilitation and behavioural help to animals who require this additional support.
